Why aren't there options for selecting TCP or UDP in Remote Port Forwarding?
Hi georgerod,
Is there certain UDP traffic you will be looking at?
Cheers
There is not. I have worked o nothe rsecurity products (firewalls) that allow you to select wether the port is tcp/udp. I'm curious to know why there is no option with CATO, or is this something that needs to be enabled in the backend?
Understood. On the KB, it mentions: "It directs TCP/UDP traffic from the Internet to specific internal resources..."Can we check if you are encountering any issues related to UDP, currently? https://support.catonetworks.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004514358-Security-and-QoS-Recommendations-for-RPF
I am not having any issues. I am just inquring as to why we dont have the option to choose tcp/udp.
Maybe I should put this in the Ideas section
