For the article Microsoft Apps (Including Copilot): Configuring the App Activities Integrations, we received the following comment:
- Unclear when to use which integration. Isn't M365 just enough?
The Integrations Catalog includes two Microsoft 365 entries. Each entry has a different purpose:
- Microsoft 365 (New Tenant): This is the parent connector and is required for almost all Microsoft apps integrations. You only need to create this connector once for all Microsoft apps.
- Microsoft 365 Apps: This is the app in the CMA that includes all Microsoft 365 apps
To create the App Activities integration for Microsoft apps, create the integration with Microsoft 365 (New Tenant). The procedure for this is in the article.
You can then create an additional connector for each app you want to enable App Activities for. The list of supported apps is listed in the Supported Applications section.
