2027 Billing Frequency - new pricing model

Hi Cato Team,

I have a few questions regarding the 2027 pricing and billing changes:

* Historically, billing has typically been on an annual basis. Will the billing frequency change to monthly in 2027?
* Will this also apply to existing customers?
* Or will the billing frequency only change upon renewal, when the new pricing model is applied?

Thanks. This answers part of my question — I understand that existing customers will move to the new pricing model upon renewal.

What I’d still like to clarify is the billing frequency under the new model.

Since bandwidth usage and over-usage are measured on a monthly basis, and customers may have bursting / over-usage during the month, will the billing frequency also change to monthly billing?

Or will the contract still be billed annually, with any over-usage charges billed separately?

Customers with active contracts use the legacy pricing model. When their contract is up for renewal, they must switch to the new pricing model. All new customers use the new pricing model from the start.
