API for Creating Users in CMA

We don’t have an IdP environment, so we need to manually provision a large number of users in CMA.
I couldn’t find any API call in the API Reference that would allow us to do this.
Is there an API that can be used to create/register users?
I apologize if I have overlooked it in the documentation.
